    Setting up a knowledge base

I am looking for some guidance in setting up a knowledge base for clients to access through a portal on my website.  Can anyone direct me?

    Thanks so much!

    Answer

    Hi syd,

When you login to Method, one of the tabs you'll see is the Solutions Tab select it, then click on the Solutions List tab link and you can create create your own solutions, both internal and available to users who login to your Method portal. In order to make a Solution available to your clients, you would need to set the Status to Published and ensure that the Internal? checkbox is empty. Once you've created some Solutions go to Customize > Integration Tools > Knowledge Base. This tool will take your solutions, publish them to the web, and provide you with a link you can give to your customers or place on your website. We use this for our knowledge base as well: http://www.methodintegration.com/method/kb.aspx?folder=MethodCRM&article=Overview&id=73
