notice is that when an Outlook contact is added to Method the mobile
phone number is not populated to the record in Method. Seems like it should since there is a field for it in Method. Plus, lot of other contact info would be great to have in Method (other phone numbers, addresses, etc.)

Also, how
does one initiate a sync between contacts in Method and Outlook (from my
quick look so far it does not appear to exist)?

INVOICE

I INVOICE CONTRACT PRICING ALL ITEMS IN ONE AMOUNT.

But I'm now getting the request, how do I download from Method to my copy of Outlook. Is there a way to Sync contacts or just download.

So where can you access this mysterious number? For P.O.s I can currently see on the design side of the form that this field should be visible, but it doesn't show up on the actual transaction itself, so it becomes "invisible". And of course, even if we could see it/find it, having to manually look up a specific Record ID for each P.O. or Estimate to be generated (likely 50-100 at a time)and then manually entering it into a second spreadsheet to cover up to hundreds of lines per Estimate, and multiple lines per P.O. totally defeats the purpose of automating the process.

Isn't there any other way to "link" these two parts of P.O. and Estimate transactions together so that they can be imported without having to go through some manual lookup process? Like maybe linking via the PO number vs. the Record ID? I would think the same problem would apply to Invoices....

Additionally I was able to get one PO to post into QuickBooks, but was not able to get another one in (in spite of incrementing the Record ID by 1).

Thanks for anyone's help - as I'm meeting with the client after having promised big things with Method that are now starting to look impossible....

Extra Contacts for QB customers

Currently I have added 2 tabs to the customer list screen in Method to accomodate additional contact information. Is there a better way?

Here's the situation in a nut shell. We deal with Medical facilities (our "customers") each facility may have several physicians (contacts) and each physician has multiple numbers and sometimes coordinators or other people associated with them.

So I created additional tabs on the customer list screen and added to the table surgeon1; surgeon1cell; surgeon1phone; etc and then Surgeon2; Surgeon2cell; Surgeon2phone; etc.

What would be perfect is if they clicked the "email changes" button that a text box or message box pops up and allows them to enter a few words that then becomes the body of the email. I don't want them to have to choose who to send it to or change the subject line or anything else. Just be able to add to the body.

I've noticed the ease in which one may update a customer record, forget to save, and simply switch to another record. All changes are lost without warning. I was hoping to fix this issue before my users decided to jump into Method, but it's too late now. I have created a pop-up message that appears on load to remind my users to save. The message tells them that they can use "enter" to save. It would be really helpful to be able to change the font of this warning message (it's quite small and meek, not much of a warning), but it gives me some relief to know there is a reminder.

I would like the act of exiting a customer record as much of a pain as it is to exit the "customize screen" module. You cannot get out if it unless you choose a command, which invariably means publishing or saving. You can't just hit "escape" or log out. It won't go away. How do I accomplish this with the records in the Customer list? I want to force our users to hit a button, "save" / "clear and new" "save and close".

Thanks!

Error messages that fields no longer exist -- table needs to be regenerated -- how do wo do this?

Last Friday, while customizing screens, I started to receive error messages that my fields no longer existed in a table. My users have requested that they would like to click on the email address (we will take a button adjacent to the email address) that allows them to send an email. I have found commands in the text box properties that allow me to "add actions" including "send email" which has been disasterous. Another trick I tried is to create a "send email" button that would link to the "activities" tab. There is no way that anyone will have the memory or patience or desire to go through all of the steps one needs to "find" the "send email" screen in the activities tab. We need this to be one step. Please tell me how to do this.

Dropdown lists that filter the other list.

I am looking for a way to create a dropdown fields that are linked and related based on the prior selection. For example: Let's say I choose a dropdown field that has a list of 10 different Manufactures of cars.
