Attention Google Apps and QuickBooks users!
Google Apps has rapidly become the destination of choice for small and medium sized companies looking for hosted email, online spreadsheets, and a shared calendar. Even at Method HQ we dumped our Microsoft Exchange server, switched to Google Apps, and haven't looked back. It's one less thing for ...

The good news
More and more companies are jumping on Method, and we're seeing a steady and consistent user base growth month after month. We don't do much advertising, so we can attribute most of this growth to word-of-mouth. So, THANK YOU for spreading the word and letting other small businesses know about Method!
The bad ...

Aaron - we checked the logs, and there was an issue with exporting one of your QuickBooks custom fields that started with a number rather than a letter. We've resolved it, so you should be okay going forward.

"July" version now available
The following updates are now available on the staging site. You can access the July version by clicking "Switch to the July version" when you sign into Method.

Great to hear. We're going to work that into the system in some way so that we can at the very least give a graceful troubleshooting article in situations like this.

Can you run through those recommendations and see if they solve it for you?
Do me a favor - if it does solve ...

Same deal there ""Property:9 Chel Clois
Sloane Av SW3 3DL" has a colon in it.
It's just taking the raw data that exists for that customer, nothing fancy going on behind the scenes.
I bet if you look at this customer's account, you'll see the "Customer Name" in Method is ""Property:9 Chel ...

Translation: QuickBooks doesn't like the colon ":" in the name you created.
"78
COMPASS HOUSE:IMPERIAL WHARF"
Might be better as "78
COMPASS HOUSE - IMPERIAL WHARF"
Try putting in "78
COMPASS HOUSE:IMPERIAL WHARF" directly into QuickBooks, and you'll get the same attitude, but probably a much ...

1. Hit the "..." next to the Activity Type dropdown.
2. Select the one you want to delete. Be careful....keep the one that came with Method! This is the one with the description "Typically used to record customer meetings, business meetings or scheduled appointments." beside it.
3. Click More Actions... > Delete Activity ...
