Dashboard Assignments for Opportunities

If you are the owner of opportunity and an activity gets assigned out to another user, the secondary user will see their activity in their To Do’s and on the calendar. They will not see the opportunity on their dashboard unless you reassign it to them. Assigning them a task to perform does not relinquish the opportunity from you. You are able to change the opportunity to the other NEXT user if they are now the responsible party for that support ticket.
