Release Notes

Method CRM Updates - December 10 - December 13, 2011

The following indicates which accounting application(s) the release note(s) apply to.
  • QBD = QuickBooks Desktop
  • QBO = QuickBooks Online

New Activity

  • New - now if you create a new activity and assign it to another user, an email is sent to that user letting them know. (QBD & QBO)
  • New - you can now add a new contact in the Schedule a Follow-up section by clicking the <Add New> option under the Follow-up Contact dropdown list. (QBD & QBO)
  • New - when loading an existing activity, we now check to see if the activity is recurring.  If it is, the section for “Schedule a Recurring Activity” will appear automatically.  Of course if this is just a one time appointment, the section will remain hidden. (QBD & QBO)
  • Improved - when navigating using the “Go Back” button from the Edit Activity screen, we now set the position of the cursor back to the “Assigned To” field.  This way when you return back to the screen to edit another activity, you’ll be at the top of the screen and see less jumping. (QBD & QBO)
  • Improved - we’re relabelled the “Customer / Vendor Info” title under the Contact Information section to be “Lead / Customer / Vendor / Employee Info”. (QBD & QBO)
  • Improved - the on screen load actions now take advantage of call another action set to call the text change for the contact dropdown list. (QBD & QBO)
  • Improved - optimized the amount of actions needed in the buttons by using the Call Another Action Set action.  This results in easier maintenance when making changes to this screen. (QBD & QBO)
  • Improved - when saving an activity, we now perform a mail merge for the Subject field using the tables list below.  For example, having Activity.ActivityStatus in the Subject field would replace it with the activity status of the current activity. (QBD & QBO)
