What is the Gmail Gadget?
Solution No. 35

SaaSphalt now works where you work: right inside Gmail. When you click on an email, the gadget displays the contact's phone number, address, balance, QuickBooks transactions, CRM activities, opportunities, cases and documents. Plus, it gives you the ability to add new contacts, activities, follow-ups, cases, opportunities and documents without even leaving your inbox.

Best of all.....it's FREE for SaaSphalt users.

Who is this available to?

  • Business Gmail users (Google Apps) - this is only available if your business email domain is hosted by Google Apps.  Not sure if you are? If you can access your email using Gmail, and your email address ends with @YourCompanyName.com, where YourCompanyName.com is your website or company email domain, then you are likely a Google Apps user. If your email address ends with @gmail.com or @googlemail.com, you are likely NOT a Google Apps user, and should consider moving to Google Apps. To sign up for Google Apps visit http://www.google.com/enterprise/apps/business/pricing.html.
  • Browser-based versions of Gmail users - the Gmail Gadget works in all major, modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, FireFox, IE8+). It does not work in mobile versions of Gmail (neither mobile browser optimized versions nor native versions).
  • User sign-in ability - users must have the ability to sign into SaaSphalt in order to use the gadget.

What are the benefits of using SaaSphalt's Gmail Gadget?

  • Work where you work: You use Gmail. You love Gmail. You use SaaSphalt. You love SaaSphalt. Now work with both at the same time, directly where you spend most of your time: in your Gmail inbox.
  • Intelligent: The Gadget is designed to cut out steps. Get started today and you'll see what we mean.

Video Overview

Note: In this video you will see the Method CRM logo and branding, not SaaSphalt’s. Don’t worry; we’re not having an identity crisis. SaaSphalt is built on the Method platform, so we decided there’s no point in trying to reinvent the wheel. For more info on the relationship between SaaSphalt and Method, see the What is Method article.
