PDF Files corrupted when saved using Google Chrome
Solution No. 505

Recently, some customers have started noticing that PDF files generated within Method are corrupted after being saved. This is due to an issue with the latest Google Chrome browser update - version 39.0.2171.71

The Google Chrome team is already aware of this issue. It was first reported on December 1 and can be viewed here.



Resolution

There several potential solutions which can be utilized in the meantime:

1) Use a different browser, such as Mozilla Firefox.
2) Try disabling cache through the dev tools.
3) Right-Click and reload the document before saving it.
4) Uninstall the current Google Chrome browser, then install an older version.
